Can't Post New Thread or Reply With More Than a Line or So

Been trying to post a reply to the challenge thread since last night but getting 'Connection Reset' error. Appears ok with a line or so of text but anything longer fails.

Fails in FF & Chrome. Any timeout/size-limit doodads change in the recent upgrade?

Also unable to upload 130kb image in the file upload manager (just seems to hang).

I've tried the usual stuff: clear cache, reboots, etc.

    Thoughts?

Internet speed seems reasonably snappy. No probs uploading to Flickr.

    Thanks.
    Phil.

Some Nikon stuff. I shoot Mirrorless and Mirrorlessless.

Have you tried doing a full scan with something like Spybot Search & Destroy, or Malwarebytes or your favourite anti-malware program?

One of the first things I tried was Malwarebytes and Windows Defender which both came up clean. Your post prompted me to try Spybot which was already installed (I think) but I couldn't locate the directory or programs - usually not a good sign. Anyhow after some fiddling re-installed it and it came up with a fair bit of stuff but nothing serious - didn't solve the problem.

After much googling I found a post that recommended running a whole series of anti-malware / AV programs. One of these was AdwCleaner which was already installed. It turned up a couple of dodgy registry keys (for each browser) - I deleted these which appears to have rectified the problem.

    Cheers.

I've found this one about the best, SUPERAntiSpyware (yeah, any name with SUPER in it is a bit of a worry, but it works)
Just use the free download ...... http://www.superantispyware.com/
