    Is this plane lost ?

Here in Adelaide we have loads of planes flying above heading west - east and all directions but usually in a straight line...sometimes one will land
I was watching this one this morning coming from the west ( bottom of screen ) and then it chucked a sharp turn....any ideas ?

I don't think I have ever seen a trail doing this. Maybe it was a pilot going for his license test

    Clearly it's a UF What? It's nt?

Military manoeuvres/A sudden ATC change of direction/Swerved to avoid a flock of pigeons/Something else...

No idea, really, but 1nce on a flight to Eu, we flew from Syd across Wilpena Pound and some way into SA before banking right sharp(ish)ly
to go to Singapore. So my conclusion is ???

This is probably closest to the truth. Pilot probably had one track to point x at which point he had to make a left turn to get into the pre-defined traffic route (which in the sky, the pre-defined traffic routes are ALL one-way... (perhaps his flight path had to take that route because he had to bypass a military no-fly zone before he could head towards his goal?)
