Looking for wireless shutter remote for Nikon D3s

I am trying to find out a way of remotely (wireless) shooting with a Nikon D3s. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, just want to be able to use it to shoot self portraits, using flash. The camera doesn't have IR receiving sensor, but I believe you can connect a IR receiver to it, but not sure what the best options are out there.

I have seen the Giga T Pro II but at $120 was wondering whether there are better or cheaper options out there.

I was also looking to get it in time for Christmas, so being able to buy something from a local camera shop would be preferrable.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Bit confused with this request SS.
Are you wanting to remotely trigger a flash or to remotely activate the shutter?

Either way, just go and grab a remote trigger and receiver from any of the reputable cheapie manufacturers.

We have been using a couple of pairs of Yongnuo RF 602 combination triggers for years and they still operate perfectly and cost less than $50.00 new.

Thanks for the tips guys. I found this http://www.protog.com.au/buy/yongnuo...4-d/RF603N1-II which appears to be what I'm looking for. It's really just shutter release that I need. If I'm only using it for shutter release, does the receiver need to be connected on the flash shoe or can it just be connected by cable to the 10 pin remote terminal?

With the flash in the hot shoe all you need to do is connect by the 10 pin plug and it purely acts as a shutter release. If you want to trigger a remote flash as well as the camera shutter you just need another transceiver mounted under the speedlight. That way you have the trigger unit in your hand, the remote shutter unit connected by the 10 pin and then the 3rd unit on the speedlight. One press of the button does the lot. One caution --- you may or may not get your full synch speed of 1/250 with those units. The ones we use tap out at about 1/160 so if you are wanting higher shutter speeds you may have to go looking at the more advanced ( read pricier ) units.
