    Firefox Just Gets Better...

...at not letting you do things.

    So now the latest...

Suddenly, you cannot get the Home Page (I use Google Search) when you open any new tab. (It still does on first starting Firefox).

You have the choice of a bunch of stupid tiled sites (think )
or a blank page where the address bar doubles as the search bar (think ).
    (Forced to select this option.)

If you want the Home Page in the new tab you've got to click the Home button.

    And better...

If you search for solutions to this NONE of them work
    CC, Image editing OK.

Ta Kym. That's the 2nd non-FF fix I've seen now. I was hoping to keep it in-house, but if nothing avails!!!

I don't have that problem AM. I'm on FF 42.0b5 which fixed the problem I had with Adobe Flash Player crashing everything too. Of course I went back to Win7 Ultimate as well because of issues just like you mention on Win 10.

I think the "b" says it's a Beta. I'm on the Beta list. The last version I had was shite.

Of course, there is ONE desperate, in-house solution - and at least it saves one click. I put a Google page button on the
Bookmarks Toolbar, then a single right-click can tell it to "Open in a new tab"
. Sounds so desperately schoopid I just ruled it
    out!

FF has become a real memory hog too. I often look at Task Manager and discover that FF is using over 2gb of RAM. It's only a browser ferchrisakes. What can it possibly need 2gb of RAM for?
