Samyang make a 14 mm f2.8 for sony, but it's manual only. It's a good lens that might be close to your budget? Cheers.

There are cashbacks for lenses too.

But a quick gander reveals only the 35mm f2.8 being remotely in your price range.
If you do a shopbot search, street prices brings this down to $500-$600 range after cashback so still a bit over.
But you'd need to research the lens yourself as I'm not very familiar with the Sony FE mount range.
Oh, if you do use the shopbot site for price reference, check the retailer as well to make sure it is a reputable one.

With a Full Frame camera you won't look back, I'm sure.

Good cameras need good glass, but it costs. My two FE lens are the are the 16-35 and 24-70 which I'm very happy with, but aren't in your price range. I also use my A mount Tamron 70-200 and Sony 70-400 with adaptor (both Full frame which I was already using with my a65 & a77).

I'm not sure what you were shooting previously but with adaptors those lens may work ok, or the kit lens is usually the 28-70, there may be a few of those on eBay/gumtree.

    Thank you!

Ive got some good lenses around. An old Pentax 135mm F3.5 Supr Takamar, Pentax-Asahi 50mm F2 and a 58mm F2 Helios. As for my Canon glass Ive got the Ef50mm F1.8, EF 40mm F2.8 and the EF-s lenses are the kit 18-554mm and 55-250mm.
I have an EF to E mount adapter in the mail and the EF to M42 and EF to Penatx K mount already in my kit as I used them on the Canon 550D.
