Stumbled across this software today.
Photo Mechanic
Seems to be mainly used by working pros as a very fast import/rating/selection tool.
Lets you look through a large number of files & quickly & easily pick & rate keepers
Editing seems to be limited to housekeeping type edits - rotations, resizing, renaming, watermarking etc, so you have to export to another program for further editing
Anybody use it?

I have used this program on a trial basis and found it quick however I simply don't shoot the volume of photos to justify my ongoing use or to pay for ongoing use....for me only overall waste, but that was me and my requirements/needs did not require this product.

Same as Kevin here.
Trialled it for a day or so .. found no advantage to using it.
(actually didn't like the way it rendered raw(NEF) files .. but that's me).
