    Torquay Dawn Cloudbreak

I was playing with a new 100mm manual prime this morning at Torquay, then to escape from the rain I retreated to my car for a coffee.
Then quite literally a hole opened in the sky. With this focal length I could not find a vantage point to get a reasonable hyperfocal length, thus the foregrounds are quite soft. Still, nature is something to behold.

Such a lovely part of Victoria and Nature did her best giving you such a delightful scene, and how wonderful to be able to just sit and enjoy it while sipping on a hot drink.

    Like the second photo.
Photos don't have to be perfect to remind us of a point in time that is outstanding. Bet you enjoyed the coffee.

Two lovely shots NR. The sunlight breaking through really lends a dramatic effect to the second. A little imagination also suggests a couple of pretty cat's eyes in the clouds to the lower right

Wonderful lighting. An opportunity well seized.
