    Windows 10

After being away for 3 moths I switch on PC and after a update to Win 7
I have a Window icon on the task bar
Asking for a free Win 10 copy
Is this a scam and how to get rid of it

I keep getting a update to complete and shutdown?

    Virus ?

    cheers

    Hey Cupic. There's a fully-fledged Windows 10 thread here.
    Have you seen that one?

Win 8.x (and I'd imagine, Win 7) users have a notification about Win 10 in the task bar. I'd doubt it's a virus you've got, but post a screen print (in the other thread) and
    let's havver look attit.

As Am says, not a scam. Windows 10 is free for everyone.

NO! Free only if you have a legit Win7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 system. (Upgrade Win 8 -> 8.1 first)
