I have just purchased the Epson V370 scanner, and wondering which software people most versatile when scanning with it.
I have just purchased the Epson V370 scanner, and wondering which software people most versatile when scanning with it.
Nikon, D750, D5000, 35mm f/1.8, 18-55mm & 55-200mm kit lens,
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, Sigma 120-400mm, Sigma 150-600S, SB-910, Metz mecablitz 58 AF-2
Manfrotto 680B Mono + 234RC tilt, 055XPROB + 804RC2.
If your OS is Windows or OSX, then the Epson software provided with the scanner is going to be good and provide all the functionality.
If your OS is Linux, then Xsane via gimp is probably a reasonable choice, and free, but I don't know if the Sane project supports the V370.
You'll need to check out the supported Epson scanners.
Cheers,
Terry
Thank you tduell, I am on win 7 currently using Epson S/ware but need to follow up on some of the features but nice to hear what others are doing.
OH so much to learn
Same here, as TC said. But if the scanner is about 1 year old, check the website for updates. I recently did.
