    Flat bed scanner problem

    I have an older cannon Lide 30 scanner, which hasn't done that much work but am getting thin coloured lines across the image eg, cyan, Magenta, yellow, cyan, magenta, then a space then repeated down the page. aAm about to try another Scanner.
    Nikon, D750, D5000, 35mm f/1.8, 18-55mm & 55-200mm kit lens,
    Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, Sigma 120-400mm, Sigma 150-600S, SB-910, Metz mecablitz 58 AF-2
    Manfrotto 680B Mono + 234RC tilt, 055XPROB + 804RC2.

    What operating system? Have you recently done anything to the scanner drivers? Changed OS?

    Can you run a diagnostic test? (On installation CD??)
    CC, Image editing OK.

    Hi ameerat42, running on XP and I think it has the last driver upgrade for this unit. Amazing I do have a genuine disk for this unit

    See if it's got a diagnostic tool (maybe already installed with your drivers) you can run.
    Give it a thorough test to determine if it's "kaput!", or whether you can adjust something.
