went into camera house store in Shepparton and asked for a price on the 50mm art sigma lens and was quoted $1088, i thought that was OK and went home to think about it. i then got on line to camera house site to order and the price was $919 and i hit the order button and it is delivered for free to the Shepparton store where i pick it up and the price is around the grey cost and you have the aus warranty

Same thing happened to me when I went to Georges Camera Store in Sydney City . I wanted a Lowepro camera bag and found what I wanted on their website for about $50-$60. When I went into the store to buy it, it had a price sicker on it closer to $100. I said I would not pay that as it was on the website as nearly half that price and they went off and came back with some story about how it had just been put on special on the website , but the price stickers had not been changed yet blah blah blah!! I'm sure they have one price for those who just walk in of the street and one price for those who shop on-line. Moral of the story , I guess , is do your research!

Thanks for the heads up i often avoid my local camera house due to the prices but i will check the website before hand now.
