A Cookie for a FireFox?

Guys.
I have the latest Firefox - 35.0.1. [Applause!]

I CANNOT find a mention of Cookies ANYWHERE in it.

Any ideas?

This came about because, though I can do internet banking generally, one particular site
did NO-thing when I clicked onto its int bank login site.

I CAN EASILY get there using Chrome - which I don't like to do.

Go to the menu ( 3 horizontal bars ) top R/H side of the browser.

Select "options"

Select "privacy"

And then you see a linked blue text to cookies. ----

I could not see that text as I had it on "Never remember history" (and be doomed to repeat it!).

Changed all that to generally accept cookies, retried that site - No-thing again!

When you hover the mouse over the tab nothing even shows up in the status bar.

So, I will let them know it doesn't work in FF. It's a credit union, so I reckon the fault is more
likely theirs than FF's.

Do a search on Firefox Plug-ins for third-party cookie controllers and get this one. It is so much easier to identify cookies by the site you're surfing and allowing you to delete just those. Some sites are sneaky and don't name their cookies according to what you think they might be and these ARE caught by this particular controller. Here's another tip too. It will NOT defeat the pay-walls on the on-line news sites, but will effectively allow you to reset the free articles read back to zero. You can do the same of course by using Firefox's built in cookie deleter, but often you have to delete them all to be sure and that can be a pain. I'm not recommending you break the law, but it's a bit of a grey area. I'll understand if this post disappears though. No problem.

Ta Warbler. I suspect it's NOT a cookie issue though, as I did set it back (temporarily) to accept all cookies.
Nothig happened when I did. Chrome is set to "Do Not Track" and yet it still works there.
