    Keatings Lagoon Cooktown

Went to take some shots with the wide angle lens of trees and stuff around this lagoon, but changed over to my 105mm lens and had a go at some bird life was there in good numbers. These shots were heavily cropped to get more reach. Think l might have to invest in a zoom lenns?

Love those Magpie Geese Feathers they are a friendly Bird we sometimes get them down at the local Lagoon here too.
Though the ones around here are white not a muddy brown colour like up your way It will be good when the Rain comes.
Yes get a long angle lens though Birding is very addictive my 300mm lens has not been off my new camera in the 7 weeks I have had it, and I use it every day.
