    Epson Stylus Pro 3880

Not sure where to post this but I am thinking of purchasing the above printer and was wondering what other peoples experience with the machine might be ... Good or bad?

Can't help you with the 3880 but I have a much older 7600 and it is a great printer, a little prone to clogged nozzles if not used enough ( as most pigment ink printers are) but I believe the newer ones are not as prone. Remember you will need to have it serviced by a tech regularly at a minimum of $100 normally just to show up then parts and labour....in saying that I've had mine about 8 years and had it serviced 3 times costing about $400.00 each time...or maybe $200.00 once and $600.00 another time. Ink is expensive $200 plus for my carts ( 7 of them) and they are supposed to be used in 6 months....I've had some in for 18 months and as long as you take them out and shake them a little every few weeks I've not had an issue.
    Regards
