yeah good point . I have even seen them with grips included around that price.

D750 is a funny camera. Thom Hogan referred to it a "fixed D600/610" with some D810 bits in it.
One wonders of the D6xx line will exit gracefully to stage left.

I am surprised they limited the D750 to 1/4000 shutter given the shutter/mirror mechanism is reportedly the same as the D810.

Every day there are about a bazillion new products launched onto the market, almost all of which are either not aimed at me, or fail to meet my needs. I don't let myself be disappointed by that...

ECS (auth reseller) have listed the D750 at $2350. Impressive if correct (~$200 cheaper than US after exch rate).

Looks a great set of specs for a general purpose camera. If Nikon can get these out the door 'clean' they should sell absolute shiploads...

    Cheers.
    Phil.

Some Nikon stuff. I shoot Mirrorless and Mirrorlessless.

Looks perfect to me. I've already picked up a D750 to go with my D7100. It gives me a perfect DX/FX combo - almost identical bodies and controls, same accessories, similar AF systems.

Vera, your DX lenses will work on the D750 with limitations. The D750 has a menu option to reduce the image circle cast on to the sensor to be the same as a DX camera. If you use DX lenses on the D750 without selecting the DX mode in the menu you might have a lot to a little vignetting occurring in the final images due to the reduced coverage area of the DX lenses.
Some DX lenses will give you rather poor results when used with the camera in FX mode and some DX lenses, the 35mm F/1.8 for example, will provide an almost vignette free image.

I agree, I would love to get my hands on the 200mm F1.8
