Hahaha. I can't wait to give it a go. I ordered it Sunday and it's already in Melbourne. Should be in my hands tomorrow hopefully.

I've got a Tamron F2.8 17-50mm lenses and find it very good, its probably my stock lenses for landscapes and general use.

The Tamron 18-270 is also worth considering for a general purpose or holiday lenses where you don't want to take too much. The model with VC is good and sharpest at F8.
