Looks like you did get a good bargain. They say the RRP is $399.00. Good on you and yeah, thanks HN...LOL They are handy to have on you at times. Like at dinner with friends, to have in the car in case you come across something out of the ordinary. Very handy.

I forgot this until I saw it in my bag tonight, the other day one of my work mates gave me a monopod.

He found it while he was cleaning out some of his old boxes and didn't need it any more.....

Great stuff Paul, on both counts. You'll have fun with your monopod and it doubles as walking stick when climbing up big hills (well mine does ).

Ben, nice piece of equipment. Benq is a good make with great colour. I still have my V772 CRT for getting correct colour on my images as it is superb for it.

    Great buy !!

Hardly Normal are usually overpriced to say the least - rip-offs if you understand some of their business practices - but their specials can be great.

I have found them to one of the few places that will readily price match..to a degree, but apart from specials their prices are often over the top.

Can i be your new best friend

The 200 is probably my "dream" lens, it'd produce crazy bokeh for portraits.

I've gotten my first dream lens (85 1.2), maybe one day i'll be able to get the 200 f2
