I am glad the D3 is finally in your hands, I look forward to seeing what it can do.

I'm excited for you Rick (and a lot jealous!!)

I've had my hands on NEF files from ISO400 through to 25,600 and it's truly an amazing thing.

Ok, my purchase seems a little small in comparison, but I just bought a Hoya ND8 filter to play with. Hopefully I get a chance to road test it this weekend

With all the new cameras, lenses and filters being celebrated I thought I would add our latest "woohoo".
After being used to the luxury of a cheap remote shutter release for the D50, $100.00 + for a corded remote release for the D200 was a bit steep so a $9.99 ( + Del.) Yongnuo seemed worth a try.
It arrived today, has twice the build quality that I expected and works perfectly with no issues.
The best part was it can be bought from Oztion instead of eBay thereby avoiding the eBay double dip on paypal accounts.

Tamrac Memory and Battery Wallet 8, $20 probably one of the most needed things for me at the moment, sick of having so many AA batteries and memory cards loose in my bag

Yes I too have a waahooooo! I just purchased a Canon 40D. Manfrotto Monopod. I did have a new Tamron Lens too but that went back to the shop, (disappointing). I will be purchasing a new Canon 70-200mm F2.8 IS USM in the very near future. Have found it for $1830.05 new with one year warranty.
A positive attitude can really make dreams come true - it did for me.

Hi Brad. I was actually pricing these yesterday. Go to www.sandisk.com.au/retail/buy.aspx
then go to Australia and there is a whole list of suppliers who sell them. I checked them all yesterday and Cheap Chips is the cheapest along with IT?. $42.95. The reason I did it this way was there are alot of fake Sandisk cards out there I only want genuine. Anyway have a look yourself and see what you come up with.

I have bought most of my gear from D D Photographics and I have always found them good to deal with.
I am lucky that I work in the Sydney CBD so I can easily get to them to pick stuff up.
