Was talking to my locak store about this camera and he is thinking of buying one as a backup for his D300. He also commented on it's high ISO performance. He does a lot of travel and so wanted something a little smaller.

Well I picked up a BG-E2n Battery Grip for the 40D on the week end.

Replaced my 19in IBM monitor with an Eizo FlexScan SX2461W (24in)
Now I have to reprocess all my photos
whoaaa!!
Just had a look at the price of those things, boy they definitely arn't cheap. I'm still yet to replace my screen, but is there really that much of a difference between the dell 24in or even the 30in compared the to Eizo's?
Don't know, but there's a hell of a difference compared to my old monitor, which I always thought was a pretty decent unit.
I just won some 'cokin' filters and holder on fleebay.
Got a pay rise! and our annual bonus gets paid this month ... so... I just ordered these two from ebay...

I manage to get one of these...
For now a total of...
Tricky business letting your wife NOT knowing what you buy, e.g Took one of my friends to tell her 4 weeks after I bought the 1D Mk III
So my Speedlight 580 packed up after our recent trip to Kenya and Egypt, took a bashing in the bags I think.
And I am doing a wedding very soon so I couldn't be without a flash while it was getting fixed could I?
So I bought a 580EX II and while I was there I added the CP-E4 battery pack

What widey did you get Julie-Anne?
