Was talking to my locak store about this camera and he is thinking of buying one as a backup for his D300. He also commented on it's high ISO performance. He does a lot of travel and so wanted something a little smaller.

I'd choose a D90 over a D200, the image sensor is improved quite a bit for anything over ISO 400, the high resolution screen is great for checking focus,
the only -ve is the strength of the body.. if you don't hammer your equipment then this shouldn't be an issue.

Looks pretty good quality, so will have to have a play later.

Thanks for the heads up Adam.
Mine arrived today... it is big!!

Can't actually figure out how to fold mine back down again either

    whoaaa!!

Just had a look at the price of those things, boy they definitely arn't cheap. I'm still yet to replace my screen, but is there really that much of a difference between the dell 24in or even the 30in compared the to Eizo's?

Don't know, but there's a hell of a difference compared to my old monitor, which I always thought was a pretty decent unit.

Tricky business letting your wife NOT knowing what you buy, e.g Took one of my friends to tell her 4 weeks after I bought the 1D Mk III

So my Speedlight 580 packed up after our recent trip to Kenya and Egypt, took a bashing in the bags I think.
And I am doing a wedding very soon so I couldn't be without a flash while it was getting fixed could I?
So I bought a 580EX II and while I was there I added the CP-E4 battery pack
