Sound like a good set up Ashley, be an interesting bit of kit to play with.
Just picked up two new additions. I've crossed over, I wonder if there will be fighting in my bag between the K10D and the fresh arrivals, lol.

Digital & film, Bits of glass covering 10mm to 500mm, and other stuff
very nice combo!
I just got my D300 at the start of this week, remarkable camera, you'll love it!
I would be interested to see how you like the 70-200 on the D300. I don't need that focal length enough to justify the nikkor, maybe the sigma is a good alternative value wise.
Shooting drift all Saturday, will be sure to post the results. As I am changing from Pentax to Nikon I need to rebuy everything so went the Sigma option for the medium term.
The other day took delivery of:
Hasselblad 500C/M w/ Waist Level Finder
80mm C T*
A12 Back
45 Degree Prism
All in great condition... Stoked!
well as some may know its the big 50 for me today and the camera fairy was very sweet I'm now the proud owner of a 40D. switching brands is going to be tough just looking at the different menu structure is a bit daunting but I suppose the only answer is to get out and use the thing WWWOOOHOOOOO........... another glass of red........

Congratulations Mate, on a couple of great milestones... you'll just love your new purchase.
...and if you're ever down south, or when we get back up northwards again, we'll have to have a get together and play. Very happy for ya.
Congrats to everyone else with new gear. Always fun.

Guess what? My husband who is kind-hearted and the bestest in the whole wide world, had purchased me a new Canon camera and the lens today!!!!! YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!
He went to the shops without telling me and surprised me with the shopping bags.
I am so HAPPY
I did the test on the new camera with Tamron and it went beautifully. I am so in love with this machine.
Thank you all for giving me all advice of what to get... I think this whole thing has influenced my husband because he got an extra lens for himself! He'd like to do landscapes. I just hope we don't fight over who take turn to use the camera!

Hey Helen If I ever get down south I hear the Clare Valley has some nice reds, or if your coming up this way let me know, I might send you an empty crate
Got a kenko Pro 300 2x teleconvertor yesterday. Not a big WooHoo, but will be interesting to give it a bit of a go. Might attach it to the 70-200 and try to improve my bird shots.
That will be very interesting Rick. I've seen some great and some not so great using the 2.0 TC, but, dont you have the Sigma 70-200? I did not think Kenko's work on the Sigma HSM lenses. Mine didn't.
saw your posts on boost blownhr goota love em man!
