Ameristep Dog House Blind arrived today.

Just have to wait until my extra long spiral fracture heals to get out and use it for those Advanced Photographer shots to roll in.

Just completed my "dream list" of lenses by purchasing the Nikkor 16-35mm f/4 VR today. Actually, never mind. Now I want a 105mm macro
Also arrived was a Tamrac Expedition 5x backpack, replcement (learnt to go genuine this time) MB-D80, MB-D10 and a whole bunch of CF cards

It's been an expensive few months but I have spent about a year saving up for all these goodies

Now broke, already spent my tax refund that I haven't got yet - went to an Olympus event at Foto Riesel where there were some Olympus reps showing off new and yet to be released stuff and picked up an Olympus E-P3 with kit zoom and placed the 12mm f/2 lens on order.
    Cheers

Olympus Pen F with Metabones Speed Booster and Laowa 12mm f/2.8 or Voigtlander 10.5mm f/0.95 or Nikon D800 with the Laowa 12mm f/2.8. The need to keep in touch with the past is a Nikon Photomic FTn or Nikon F2A and a Nikkor 25-50mm f/4 AI

Still loving my Sigma 30mm f1.4 that I bought a month ago

Just ordered a Yongnuo YN560, Wireless sender/receivers and a flash diffuser $100 all up!
I keep holding up a card/piece of paper over my inbuilt camera flash to get better lighting while indoors haha.. Now I want to learn how to use this flash properly, dabble in some "strobing" and other lighting things

Next lens will either be a wide angle, or something to take better close up/macro shots with, haven't decided yet. Will be a long while before I do though !!

Decided to "shave" my signature ;]
    Now mostly shoots with: Canon 5D MK3 & Canon 24-70 f/2.8/50mm f/1.8 (also have a 550D with a variety of lenses/goodies and a Sony Nex-5N)
PP with: Lightroom only, Photoshop is merely a 9-5 work tool for me.

And all you need to do is update your signature to encompass the new purchases.

I look forward to your first shots with my "old" AF-S 300 f4 ED-IF. I know you will like it, but just remember my tips - be patient!

I was on my way to the shop looking to get a macro lens, walked out with a sigma 30 1.4, good little lens though, great IQ, and I think I'll use this more than the 50 1.4.

I went out and got myself a Tamron 60mm f2 Macro lens today to compliment my Sigma 180 macro.

I will hopefully be able to be a little more mobile with this lens (less reliance on the tripod) and also be able to get into some higher magnification stuff with tubes.

Just gotta get my latest exam out of the way on the 28th and then go out and have a play :-)
