Indeed it does. You can program it to automatically take up to 29 shots with exposures differing by as little as 1/3 stop (way over board for HRD but nice to have that flexibility). It also does time lapse but I am not interested in that yet. The beauty is that you program the control to the way you want and it takes over the camera (including mirror lockup). I use it to take 5 or 7 exposures for my HDR shots as the 7D only takes 3 shots automatically.

    Cheers

Forgot to add this last week, it's almost certainly the last thing in the big spend before leaving Korea. Needed a bit bigger camera bag...in hindsight, might've gone for the Streetwalker HardDrive if I knew how compact these backpacks were. Got this one:

The Streetwalker Pro. It's a cracker!

Have a Canon 500D with 18-55mm on it's way, with two SD cards, two extra batteries, and a IR remote. Only catch is that it's my parents new SLR...oh well I'll get to play with it

For myself [with the parents credit card] I have a second battery, IR remote and a Dell Mini 10 laptop [in Pink ] on it's way

Definitely gave their credit card a work out in the past 24 hours!

    Canon 400D | 60mm f2.8 | 18-55mm | 75-300mm| 50mm f1.8 | 430EXII | Photoshop CS4

The spend here hasn't quite stopped yet...got one of these the other day:

It's a digital level that fits in the hotshoe of the camera. The middle green light lights up when it's level and it can be calibrated. Was originally looking at the normal bubble level, but these were quite cheap here so I went for this version instead.

I've recently (earlier this month) snared my first DSLR ... hence joining the forum.

Got the Canon 550D with with EF-S 18-55 IS Lens, plus the 50mm F1.8 II.

    Having a blast.

    Any must-have protective/maintenance accessories recommended?
    Cheers,
    Arj

Yesterday purchased a Vanguard 263 AT Pro tripod with SBT-100 ball head. So far I find it superb and at a steal of a price - $180 brand new. And no more shakey / shakey camera as was a constant issue with my old cheap as you can get no name tripod.
Please be honest with your Critique of my images. I may not always agree, but I will not be offended - CC assists my learning and is always appreciate

Nothing too expensive but I have aquired my first speedlite - a YN468 (mostly for fill for natural light portraits). I can definitely say that I won't be joining the strobist crew with multi light set ups anywhere soon, but I am having more fun with bounce lighting than I thought I would

Ordered a bunch of other stuff at the same time in December, full set of gels, speedlite softbox, shoot thru brolly, reflector dish, flash bracket, omni bounce type thingo, synch cord...they must off all got stuck on the slow boat from China coz I am getting a drip feed of one item every few days.

My Scott Kelby Lightroom 3 book arrived [it's quite comprehensive] - now to order the software from somewhere at a reasonable price. Oh how I wish I was a student

Just in time for my tomorrow´s flight to Costa Rica: Nikon 70-300 f4.5-5.6G IF EG VR (in the manual it says its a VRII...surprise for me), B+W CPL MC and a Hoya ND MC 4x

    5 minutes impressions:
    - Lens: Fast focusing and VR seems to work very well, heavy and looks durable but...makes a whole bunch of little "tick" sounds when arriving or leaving max/min magnifications, never happened to me before.
    - B+W: comes with handy dedicated case and a rubber cup, looks vey good and it screws/unscrews very easy, rotating also easy. It does not have thread on the front so no cups or other filters can be attached (suppose the rubber cup can be used but it doesen´t seem to hold firm enough, will see)
    - Hoya ND 4x (Pro1digital): Looks as the B+W but it does not fit as easy. Package is also the case, filter moves inside it. Thin and threaded on the front (I chose the Hoya so I could attach the CPL in front for waterfalls and such)

    regards

Sounds like a nice bit of gear there.

    Nikkor AFD 85 mm F1.4

Do I have to ever change the aperture from F/1.4?

Meet Henrik, he happened to be sitting still when I threw the new glass onto the camera.

Got a Sigma 150-500mm for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. Great fun but I'll be taking up weightlifting to train for carrying that baby around!
