    Very unique..

Did you know that this month has 5 Fridays , 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. It's much rarer than a BLUE moon. It can only happen about 4 times every 28 years when a 31 day month starts on a Friday..

    Cheers Rev.

    Not that unique.
The last time this happened was in March 2013; the next occurrence (after August 2014) will be in May 2015.
The next occurrence during the month of August, specifically, will be in 2025. That's only 11 years from now.

Any 31 day month starting on a Friday will have 5 X Fri,Sat,Sun

Something is unique or not...there are no qualifiers or grades of uniqueness.

Does the same apply to pedants? Can you be very pedantic, or is pedantic enough and very is not required?

Hmmm...I think that there are grades of pedantry.

Adding further to this level of pedantism .. the fact(or not, as Kym's post has corrected this claim) that it happens 4 times in about 28years makes the event anything other than unique.
I may be rare, or unusual, to which you could elaborate on further with qualifiers or incremental degrees if so desired ... but it's not unique.

Being unique is something that describes a one off instance of.

FWIW: Jan 2016 will be the next month this event will occur again after May 2015.
(considering that it appears to happen about once every year .. it is unique for the year 2014! )

To have a unique pedant? Unlikely.
You could have said very unusual REV.
But are there varies in unusual, or is it just unusual?
    Think you're post is interesting.
