CWAS - David Malin Astrophotography awards.

Hi all,

I was lucky enough to have one of my images win an Honorable Mention in this years "David Malin Awards" This is one of the biggest Astrophotography competitions in Australia, and was held in Parkes, NSW over the weekend. I had a great time, meeting other well known Astrophotographers from around the country, they all made me feel welcome as this was my first time at the awards.

Thanks everyone, although I didn't win the overall I was in fact very happy that a good mate and South Aussie won it. All the photographers are great people and are so talented in their fields. I was a little disappointed that the print was much darker than what I had taken.
