Great story! Unfortunately Wikipedia says there were no Croatian plane crashes in 1963, so perhaps great urban myth would be more appropriate.

    Interesting stuff there I see
    David Tran
    Sony a55
    Sony DT 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6
Now sits as an antique as it no longer focuses properly.

Wishlist: Sony RX10iv (or RX10v if it ever comes out)

I'm inclined to agree ... a number of checks have found no corroborative evidence for most of it, so one suspects it is a furphy! Nice story though.

Did I ever tell you about the time I was taken hostage by a gorilla? Probably not .....

It doesn't mean that it didn't happen, but who knows. However, I find it hard to watch any news or read many newspapers these days as it is so biased with spin and half truths and some out and out lies in an effort to sway public opinion.

I guess the thing with these type stories is, does anyone really believe them completely anyway? I am sure we all know they are embellished a little, and sometimes a lot, but then it's a good fun positive way to brighten up your day.
