Calibrated Monitor Club - I've Joined!

Just had to post this as I am feeling great after seeing the differences last night

I have officially joined the 'Calibrated Monitor Club' and the grass IS greener over here! Join us...

I borrowed my bosses Spyder3Pro yesterday to calibrate my screen, after completion my eyes were opened My screens darks where darker than the correct levels (which I had a feeling was the case...) and there was a green/yellow hue which I had not noticed until seeing the difference. And boy is there a difference in the overall view quality...

Now we will hopefully see some more shots from me on ausphotography I have been delving into some new techniques/areas, bought a flash, etc, etc.

My photography has been minimal lately as I have not had time to go shooting alongside my new full time position and my 9 month old daughter, pretty much all my shots are of my daughter or family lately hehe. But some new photography trips are in the plans hopefully this weekend

That is all from me... Hope you are all doing well!

    Thank you for your time!

I have gotten so used to a calibrated screen that when I see someones uncalibrated screen I cringe. I have calibrated all in my house and the computers I use at work.

I have not purchased one just yet, but plan on it funds permitting soon-ish hopefully. Then I will calibrate the world! 'Super Calibration Man' shall be my name. Calibrating one person at a time...

I've tried to join, but I don't think I've been accepted. I spend more time trying to calibrate my darn monitor, than actually viewing images with it. I have a spyder pro4 setup, but I think the problem is the monitor -Asus ve248h (or just my eyesight) ⊙_☉

Did you follow all the instructions, in particular resetting the monitor to default, letting it stay on for 30 mins or more before beginning calibration, turning off any power management, screen savers etc so that the screen does not deviate from the calibration process. More often than not, problems with calibration are at the operator end.
