Sunrise @ Sydney's Eastern Suburbs - 21 Jun (saturday) ?

Hey Folks,

Am travelling in to Sydney for about 8 days in mid-June, and will be staying with a friend in Maroubra. Planning to explore the Eastern Suburbs for sunrise seascape opportunities. If anyone else is keen perhaps we could try to meet up on Saturday 21 June.
Would love to pick your brain for some location ideas!

It would be nice to meet up, but I don't want to promise anything.

I don't live at/near the coast, so I can't suggest a good place to go.

Maybe down south a bit near the golf course - as seen in one of the Mission impossible - may be a good place.

Yes I believe you're referring to Bare Island, the site of MI:2 filming. Yes I really love the place!

Kevin, i should be ok for 21 june, i can suggest south maroubra beach, north maroubra beach, Mahon Pool (top of northern end of beach) Ivo Wroe pool, little bay, heaps more.

Little Bay is worth a visit and not too far from Maroubra. Lurline Bay to the north is worth a look if you can get down near the cliffs.

Pls suggest a suitable location and I shall be there on June 21 for sunrise Then I shall plan my other shooting locations accordingly.

I used to live in a homestay at Little Bay, and have fond memories of the place! Certainly I shall return there to visit, though maybe due to my limited time in Sydney, I may only be able to visit these places during the day and not at sunrise.

maybe change of venue, lets do Giles baths (northern end of Coogee Beach) it may be better to get some pre dawn shots of Coogee.
