    useful lenses

    Hi,
having a recent 'sort out" of some of my equipment I came across these lenses
    Tokina 19-35mm f1:3.5-4.5 77mm
    SigmaAPO DG 70-300 f1:4-5.6 58mm
    Sigma UC Zoom 70-210 f1:4-5.6 52mm
    All with Pentax mounts
any chance/possibility/usefullness on my Canon 5DMk111?
    open to any suggestions

Hi Bob I dont know anything about Pentax Lens/Mounts though there is an adaptor out there for just about every camera.

Google * Pentax to Canon Adaptors * I did and there lots out there you will have to see which is the correct one though

I shoot with Olympus Cameras.. Sometimes Canon and My iPhone SE 2020

I would suggest that they would not be too useful for your Canon 5D MKIII. Yes you can adapt them to your camera but you lose AF and the quality of the lenses would not be up to the standard of the camera. The Canon 5D MKIII is a superb camera and deserves better lenses than those which you have listed.

The adaptor is a simple and inexpensive option which is worth trying at about $10. If no good - no real loss. Also, the quality you will get often depend on weather or not the adaptor has a lens in it which is usually cheap and ruins good lenses. In your case however, there seems to be no lens in the adaptor. If the quality is not good it will be because the lens quality is not up to the stand ard of that camera.

You could buy an inexpensive second hand Pentax body to go with the lenses.
