    sold all me gear..well almost

well i've gone and done it..sold most of my nikon FF gear ( just a 50mm 1.8 and 14-24 to go )

what with house finishing duties and another investment property to build on a subdivision next door ( and I mean build not supervise as I'm a brickie ) i've not had time to use my gear ...so before it get too outdated and worth nothing I bit the bullet...but i'm now looking sideways at a fuji x100s or a XT1 to keep me hand in

i do miss not having my D800 though..is a great camera and system for sure
Cheers and my name is Steve

I suspect with a Fuji X-t1 you will not miss your Nikon gear all that much...
I shoot casually with x-e1 and to me its a great camera... but x-t1 is supposed to be magnificent..
The image quality in FUji cameras has always been outstanding, but now they fixed the AF...
    I'm considering upgrading as well..

I wouldn't have thought it get outdated as such, especially for such a high spec body. I still lots of pro togs lugging D2's & 3's. But you gotta do what you gotta do
