    Well, I'm not sure what's going on there! Don't like the winning photo much!
    I'm no expert here, though it may change what I think a portrait should be.

    Some very untraditional portraits. I think the photo of the figure looking at the bridge is an awesome shot but a portrait???

    I have seen a lot better than this, but it all depends on what the judges like, and who are we to judge the judges?
    Thousands of photos are uploaded to the internet every day, and you can safely say that 95% of the photographic styles have been done before, which is where this photographer's work sits, but congrats to him for this award: if only we were all so fortunate.
