The Italian artist – whose frog image was an Internet hit – spent weeks planning the transformation, taking four hours to paint his subject with ink. The model’s arm forms the parrot’s head and beak, and her legs form the wing and tail feathers.

took me a while to work it out. absolutely fantastic.
i would not mind shoulder and biceps muscles like hers on her right arm

Oh wow, at first I thought it was a genetically modified parrot but this is brilliant collaboration by the artist, model and photographer.

Wow, that is quite an extraordinary illusion.

For comparison, here’s a real version taken at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast. Each creature/person is quite stunning in their own right!
