    Stunning parrot photo, or not!

    or is it??? ??? ??

wonderful photo of a parrot, but it is not, take a second look

    Quote from the BBC:

    Bird spotter
A picture that requires a double take: this parrot is in fact a female model who posed for ‘world bodypainting champion’ Johannes Stötter. The Italian artist – whose frog image was an Internet hit – spent weeks planning the transformation, taking four hours to paint his subject with ink. The model’s arm forms the parrot’s head and beak, and her legs form the wing and tail feathers.
"It is one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it is another thing to make a portrait of who they are" - Paul Caponigro

Oh wow, at first I thought it was a genetically modified parrot but this is brilliant collaboration by the artist, model and photographer.

I'm struggling to be inspired taking a photo ATM.
'tis a wonder, the imagination and talent to produce things like this.

Wow, that is quite an extraordinary illusion.

For comparison, here’s a real version taken at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast. Each creature/person is quite stunning in their own right!

    Cheers

So! And I was blaming the birds! Next time I'll call the police and say there are painted people perched in my fruit trees and eating the fruit.

(I wonder what sort of people conform to the description. "Cat amongst the pigeons"?)
