Hi Mark will have a few options a 1Dx or 6D and 70-200mm 2.8 and 500mmf4 and using a 600 flash.Ive always just bumped the iso up as the cameras can handle it just after something different.

what type of motorsport? speedway or bikes or circuit? i battle poor lighting at the speedway most times and i always try different things like slowing the shutter right down to 1/40 -80 and trying to get a good pan shot...without using flash and bump iso right up, then the light quality isnt as important as trying to get a shot at 1/800 or so?

Thanks Jimbob its V8superboats the jetboats that are in the shallow creeks.Lighting is poor and usually bump ISO up but just after something different. The drivers are loving the pan shots day and night as no one else does it with a slow shutter.
