My friend Gail (gabby) is coming down to visit. I want to take her round to various places for photography and would love to have some Tassie APers join us.
Please post suggestions for spots and if you are available on any of these days.
On the list are dawn from Mt Wellington, Mt Field NP, maybe a trip to west coast (see how we go time and $$ wise), Derwent Valley, and perhpas an aurora (please, oh Sun God?).

I go back to work on the 6th so maybe over the weekend(11/12 Jan) I could meet.
If you are going to Mt Field, keep going and head to Lake Pedder, Gordon Dam and surrounds.

Can we do that in a day trip Rick? Maybe dawn at one or the other and sunset at the other? With the van we can park somewhere and have a kip in the middle of the day so that would work.
yeah you can, takes about another 90 mins to go from Mt Field to the Gordan Dam (which is the end of the road)
