IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Tonight (Sunday 8th December) sees the start of our Photo of the Week with the theme 50mm. Thus all entries must be taken at 50mm focal length.

First off: PRIZES

The winners of each level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) will win a Sandisk 16gb USB drive

IMPORTANT: 50mm :

Any entry that was not taken at 50mm will be disqualified.

You can either leave your EXIF data on your entry (we will automatically strip it from your entry, but store it for perusal and reference by mods/admin) or you must make a copy of the entry available( with EXIF) to site admin/mods on request so that we can verify that it was taken at 50mm

Failure to be able to provide this information if requested, will see your entry disqualified.

just bumping this to ensure everyone reads it. We do not like disqualifying entries, so it we can ensure everyone is aware of it, that would be pleasing for us.

Just to clarify a thought I had (yeah, occasionally I think ) It just may help others as they consider their entries this week.

The photograph can be cropped as much as we like, as long as it was taken at 50mm?

just quick question, it states 50mm, this does not mean a 50mm lens but any lens as long as taken at 50mm ie, 24-105 @ 50mm would be excepted ?

Yes. you can use any lens as long as it is taken at 50mm
