    Nikon D5300(is it really that much more important than a pro Dx camera?)

    I'm not so sure the old D5200 needed such an urgent update really

    I suppose I deserved that!

    I did mean the NIKON D400, not the Pentax D500.
    It's almost certain that the Pentax will probably have feature advantages over a D400 .. if one ever surfaces. So the K3 is more like a D500 competitor in reality.
    That could be a reason for Nikon not releasing a D400 earlier .. maybe they knew of the K3's features and just delayed its release.

    D5200 to D5300 seems a bit like Canon 650D > 700D ... I'm not sure why

    I've just reconsidered my options and i'm going for the nikon D5300 18-140mm lens its a great camera better than the d5200 its got less features for less money so hope to do a write up on the nikon d5300 once bought

    My Camera will be a D5300 Lenses 18-140 mm and 55-300 mm and a Yongnuo YN-560 II YN560II Flash Speedlite LCD for Nikon.
