Photoshop CC AND LR5 $9.99 per month

Adobe has released a "photography program" for Photoshop CC and Lightroom, 20gb space, Behance and something else, for a permanent price of $9.99 per month, runs till dec 31st, If you already have CC just look in the app list LR will be waiting to installed. What a great Idea. Thanks Adobe, sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Just be careful, I haven’t read the Adobe marketing blurb, but I would be very surprised if the price was set at $9.99 per month in stone, forever?

It seems more likely that this may be the price to join until 31^st Dec for a 12 month period, and then it may/will change, subject to how much Adobe sees fit to raise it by, whenever and how often?

From the Adobe FAQ:
When you purchase directly from Adobe, the cost of an annual membership will not go up during the first 12 months of your membership. It is possible that the cost of the month-to-month membership will increase, but if it does, you will be notified and given the opportunity to cancel.

Of course, if you cancel the apps will no longer function!

Seems like a good deal. Isn't. The whole thing bugs me a lot, especially since you need to be a legacy user to register at that price anyway.

Yeah tried it my version of Photoshop doesnt qualify as its an educational addtion

Worth checking, but I recall reading somewhere that if you save a Photoshop native CC file, you then need to export it in a format suitable for opening in CS6?

That is, CS6 will not be able to open a CC file?

I get a comparability check box when I go to save a .psd. I home this will be enough.

I guess I can always save as a .tif as well.
