Whales - In Moreton Bay - image heavy

On the weekend we were taking the family for a visit to Moreton Island and on the way we met these 2 stunning creatures - they were in no hurry and there was no exciting tail slapping or leaps from the water - just a quiet circling of our boat for about 25 minutes (we left first - hubby and the daughter in law were a bit worried about them coming up under the boat) They were amazing and I was in total awe -not only of their size but of the gentle way they approached us - they stopped beside us and had a good look - went under and came around the other side for another look - the most incredible experience that I have ever had on our boat! I just thought I would share the photos I took - I was pleasantly surprised that I still managed to look at the settings before taking the photos - and though there are a few duds most of them didnt come out too bad...I am slowly learning! Enjoy!

I'm just jealous that I wasn't on the boat with you, Deb!! They are the most mesmerizing creatures to watch and I'm in awe at how graceful they are. Some really neat shots, Deb

You are blessed, and we are blessed by your sharing. These are such graceful and peaceful creatures as so well shown in the first duo shot. As a bonus, exposure and colour are good. Thanks marty.
