The Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM has anybody tried this lens? The reviews rate it very highly.

No, but over on the DP Review Sigma Forum a few owners have raved about it. So have a few non-owners.
    Am.

PS: The DG spec means it's a full-frame lens.

I have it and love it. Well worth the price. I was considering getting the nikon 35 but given how much that costs it was out of reach.

When this came along and I saw the IQ was impossible (for me) to tell apart I went and had a look in store. The build quality is A1. It really is a very nice looking lens and feels rock solid without being heavy and the AF if very very good.

IM really loving my sigma lens line up. The only complaint I have is that I really dont use them enough.

    Horrible problem to have really.....
    Cheers Gav

I bought this lens recently - for Canon.

The reviews rate it better than the Canon 35mm f/1.4L (which is a pretty old design), and I've been happy with it so far, but haven't done a lot of photography with it yet.
