A really IMPORTANT Poll... how do you find things on AP?

What is your primary mechanism for tracking activity on AP?

I clicked "New Posts" and would like to add: "Threads I posted in", but then also many of the others in the poll.

I probably use 'new posts' and unanswered CC threads the most, but I chose new posts as I reckon I click that more. I also tend to have live view open on a different tab.

The mods version of Live View shows much more than regular members, eg. comp votes etc. That said it is useful (I think) for most members.

    Browse forums directly.
Generally I like particular sub-forums. Nature, members challenges, f/stop, site matters and a couple of others. Once I'm up to date with them I'll check others with recent posts. Gear stuff, sponsors, all the help and advice stuff (the date of the most recent post becomes important here).
And there's more, but, "primary mechanism", browse forums directly.

I usually click on Quick Links and then select Today's Posts and then scroll through the pages there, unless I'm looking for something specific.

I'm a 'Browse Forums Directly' voter, followed by looking through the Tab on the RHS and then unanswered CC threads, cheers Deb

Since no one else has asked, wondering why it is "A really IMPORTANT Poll"?

I use 'New Posts', but I also go directly to a couple of forums I am most interested.

BUT, I only just became aware of live view because of this poll. Looking at it now, I think I like it.

Usually I browse the category I'm interested in - most of the time landscapes and panoramas and night but when I'm in a different mood, some of the people categories
I also take a quick look at the right column for the new posts

Because I posted it on election day - i.e. much more important than the alternate poll

I'm surprised not many have liveview running on one tab and just keep an eye on that - meh!
