Shooting sport with a large format ? Maybe we all should !

Funny how you stumble across inspiration.
Came across this story accidentally. In the ranks of Olympic photographers was a bloke noticed wielding a large format camera instead of the usual fleet of CaNikons

So I checked out David Burnett's website. From shooting sport with a Speed Graphic large format to capturing US Senators with a Holga, this bloke is not your normal photojournalist. Seriously amazing images.

They used cameras like that for a very long time, when it wasn't unusual. I know a couple of 'older' shooters for big name papers who used that kind of gear because they had to, not 'cos it was 'different'.
