    North Burnett Flooding

    Flood water that devastated Bundaberg early this year left debris still visible in trees, which shows the awesome extent of inundation. These shots were taken upstream of Monto, 40k from source, & 400k above Bundaberg. My taking location is highest point for 1k each way. The caravan & Ute in distance would have been well under water.

    It was some thing too see for sure, as I had family that live on the north side of Bundy and friends that live in Gaydah and Monto and seeing their photos of the water rising really shocked we as I Have grown up in the Burnett and placed that water had run I nor my Nana had every seen the water that high in place before

    Thank You for posting these, you see all the water on the TV though don't realize just how high it got till you see the debris high up there.
