    Manfrotto 058B

So i just got hold of a Manfrotto 058B, jeez those things weigh about as much as a small country..... needs a little TLC ,looks like owner before me never really cleaned it, so there is some signs of rust on legs etc, all parts work regarding legs release etc, paint has faded in areas, but i see it as a bargain for $20, so is it worth stripping it back to parts and clean all , or just remove rust... talking of rust , what is the best way to remove from steel legs? cant wait to do a bit of long exposure with this big boy ( reason i bought it, and the $20 price tag )

Thats a heavy duty tri-pod you have bought great price too, as long as you dont want to go hiking up too many big mountains with it you have got your self a good deal, and as you have said perfect for long exposures good buy, as for cleaning the rust i cant really suggest any thing maybe some good old brasso.
Comments and Criticisms are always appreciated.

    Thank You:

    John
