    Tamron 90mm lens

Hi just after a bit of advice.

I am after this lens with the in built motor so that it is compatible with a Nikon D5000 but i seem to be having trouble finding one. I have been in touch with a few of the AP sponsors but they only seem to have the motorless ones. Is this a difficult lens to buy and if i do find one does the price rise a fair bit if it has a focus motor.I know that there is a new model out but at the moment it is a little out of my price range.

    Thanks Ruski

The Australian distributors for Tamron are : http://www.maxwell.com.au/

Give them a call, tell them what you are looking for and ask them to check their inventory as to who they have supplied the lens to most recently. Then call that place and see if they have any left. I have done that in the past and they were most helpful in giving me details of a retailer who had what I wanted, in stock.

Thanks Am didn't look at these sites.

DWI,Eglobal and DigitalRev all do the motorless lens in the $300 TO $400 bracket so am i right in thinking that the price of this lens jumps up a couple of hundred dollars because of the in built motor ??
