Nikon D400 - Likely to arrive?

It appears there would be a Nikon D400 released soon? It would be set to replace the D300s according to Photography Life. I've noticed this website normally produce pretty reliable information!

Interesting thoughts by Nasim.

It does make sense, but the progression to the higher specced EXPEED 4 processor for it is just that, a natural progression and this will also be used in their other cams uprating their buffer and frame speeds. I think we will probably see the D800 and D4 uprated as well.

Some think DX is dead. Others (myself included) think Nikon would be making financial suicide if they don't support DX better, including a proper D300 successor/DX flagship.
The site author makes some sound arguments but its hard to read too much into rumours. I'm also not aware of his track record but he sounds like a person in the know.

I remember when he first posted about the D600...not many other sites had info that he had/predicted. And he did pretty damn well to be honest. I like his website and articles. Very informative!
