RRS don't have any dsitributors, you need to contact them directly.

RRS seem to have taken the sensible approach towards maximising their profits and keeping costs down by eliminating any "middlemen" so ordering direct is the best ( only ) option.

If you are after one of their very tasty ball heads then order away direct, however, if you are after things like plates and clamps there are other makers that sell direct products that to my way of thinking are of equal quality at a lower price such as the range of brackets and plates from Hejnar Photo.

question - to those who have ordered RRS and been +$1000, did you get hit with GST? I am thinking about biting the bullet on a TVC-24L Tripod with BH-40 ProII Ballhead package at $1350 inc shipping ...

Yes you'll need to pay GST if the cost if over $1000.
can alway do 2 different shipments if thats cheaper, but that's not always the case.
    Good luck

RRS certainly gets hit by customs on the way in. Anything over $1000 they will charge you 10% on top. Its hard to split the orders when postage from the states is so exorbitant! I normally try to batch my orders from them directly to minimise postage and keep them in smaller lots. Brilliant kit though - no comparison IMHO.
