    Cool eclipsed by the cloud

    Under less than ideal conditions, the first two images are the pic of the bunch. The last two are a benefit of just being in that spot at that time.

    . Cloud can help sometimes, but look out for a sudden burst of light. Was this maximum where you were?

    yes am, i am in far nth qld and this was taken about full eclipse.

    Given the conditions the first two are crackers!!. We had clear skies down here but only a 40% event.

    Just for the record, thses images were taken on a canon 50d, 17-85mm lens and a daylight(protective)filter. handheld
