    Lookout birdies ... here I come!

    I have negotiated to buy a lovely Nikkor 300 f/4 lens and 1.4X TC from Ausphotography member cupic, so look out local birdies (feathered variety)! I'll be putting my stalking shoes on just as soon as the deal goes through and my new kit arrives! Yeehah!!!

    Good one Waz Hope you get years of enjoyment from your purchase , Sounds like your keen enough , BTW , The other variety of birds are easier to stalk on a summers day

    You'll love it. I think you'll find f8 is the sweet spot, well it is with my copy.

    I can just see the birdies quivering in their boots waiting to be photographed!

    Me too, Lance! All those little suckers that hovered just out of reach of my 55-300 zoom won't know how to calculate 300mm + 1.4xTC + 1.5 crop = Gotcha!
