    Grasshopper Invasion

    These were taking standing in the one spot, there was some other different colours that I didn't get as well.

    Thank you, they are certainly making a mess of the garden. They were all taken in bright sunlight with my 400mm lens and I was quite surprised how well they came out

    Gee what are they doing here Wayne they should be in the Wildlife Forum they are really great images.
    Looks like my garden those huge brown 100mm long ones make a great meal for the Butcherbirds.
    My Tony loves giving them a headache then whistles to the BB and we watch in amazement as they fly off the phone cable and catch them on the wing
    Those big ones are one of the Garden Critters I let him get rid off the other is the Cane Toad.. Thanks for sharing these

    Thank you Mary Anne, just seems to be heaps atm. I have a poodle and if I grab 1 and throw it on the ground he will play with it until it doesn't move any more then look for another. Yeah cane toads here too
