    Latest firmware updates

Nikon has released firmware updates for older and current cameras. D600 and D800 owners may be interested in the improvements to AF in continuous mode.

all good. Worthwhile checking the Brand forum as well for recent posts. Searches only find if someone has used the specific phrase you enter into search.

I got my D7000 from OS and I was suprised to when I check the firmware version.. which is 1.006

I havent a clue what it is for but I wonder when Nikon Australia will reach that version. Dosent worry me, just wish there were firmware upgrades still for the D700 (which I use now, I have packed away the D7000)

Nikon OZ needs to catch up with the times!
    Cheers

You can download FW updates from the USA site, or UK site if you want to. Generally the AU site is updated for firmware versions within a few days of the bigger countries.

Can anyone shed some light on my D90, is there any updates, is there a link someone knows of to get it from, and how do I update my camera, do I just hook the cord in I use to download the photos from and turn it on?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

The D90 has never had any firmware updates, it is just perfect straight from the factory since release.

I had a quick look on Nikon's site and there doesn't appear to have been any D90 firmware updates.
This is not that uncommon .. obviously the D90 is as close to perfect as Nikon originally made it

LOL! beat me too it, but I had a disadvantage in that my camera started to make random exposures for no reason as I was typing my reply .. so I got distracted trying to sort out why the camera is just sitting there shooting off for no reason.
