    In Tasmania. 8.20pm the ISS is going to pass overhead

    at 8.20 pm (in about 5 minutes) the International Space Station is going to pass over Tasmania, and with such a clear night it should be readily visible to the eye. It will go from the south west to the north east as it passes over our sky.

    I watched, did not take photos, it moved across the sky, from one horizon to the other in less than 5 minutes, so it was quite fast. Any photos would have resulted in a streaky light trail and not much else. Was good to watch, less so to photograph well.

    I use this site to get sighting dates and times for the ISS, pick your state, nearby city and bingo...
